This is one of the most delightful places we've ever stayed. Simultaneously like staying in a dear friend's beautiful home AND the highest quality hotel. The locally sources and prepared food is superb; everyone who works there is friendly, professional, & helpful; the grounds & buildings are idyllic; and Carlingford is a lovely, well-appointed, walkable town. We had a wonderful stay at McKevitts Village Inn. We met family for lunch in a private dining room and the food was lovely. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a double and twin to accommodate myself, my husband, and my nephew. The bathroom was modern and large. The shower was awesome. This is a very charming spot that we stumbled upon due to some changes in our travel plans. It was a very pleasant stay with an incredible staff. The included breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very comfortable with a babbling creek right outside the windows. If you are in the area it is a wonderful place to stay.
