Beautifully updated hotel in a historic building in old town Tallinn, just inside the Fat Margaret city wall entrance and just steps away from the Linnahall tram stop. We stayed in one of the top floor rooms with a steep "A" frame ceiling with original beams exposed, easily one of the most unique hotel rooms we've ever experienced. Great WiFi, huge TV and comfortable living room space; excellent for some hotel 'downtime' during our stay. Friendly staff and immaculate hotel overall. 5 stars.

The Kreutzwald Hotel is a very nice, comfortable hotel near downtown Tallinn. While it is not IN downtown and therefore a short walk from shops and old town, it is very comfortable and affordable. For the business traveler, ideal since much of their time is spent doing business and not seeing the sights. Still nice for the holiday traveler, but not as convenient as a hotel in old town, but you don't have to pay the price of old town, plus the rooms are more spacious than those in old town.
This is a fantastic place. It's extremely clean, has every possible modern convenience, ideally located, and very large. Loved it and will be glad to book this property in future.

Difficult to gain entry after reception had closed, no access to courtyard to get to key box, had to seek help from neighbouring restaurant.
