Excellent way to enjoy extended stay and visit Mpunt Aetna

The staff was wonderful. They even met us at the square and navigated our car up into their parking area. They just went over and above doing anything they could for us! The cottage was roomy, decorated nicely and super clean. The staff brought us anything we needed and even let me know when the spa was ready after it went down for 15 minutes. The views from the cottage were superb- from the terraces all the way out to the sea, and the garden with it's citrus and vegetables draped everywhere....

My husband Robert and I loved this quaint hotel with delicious food, top rated local wines, beautiful suites, and the best ever professional and friendly staff. We hated that we could not stay longer where we felt so at home! V good location. Vincenzo was terrific as was his wife, Valentina. They are extremely accommodating. Among other things, Vincenzo arranged a driver for a day trip (Andrea, who was great) and at the end of our stay he gave us a ride to the train station. We loved the communal kitchen. Highly recommend.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a middle of nowhere

We booked a last minute trip and were treated like royalty. They went out if there way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. The food was magnificent. The beds are firm, and there is no ac during dinner, but otherwise i would highly recommend. Claudio is fantastic

Great hotel in a dingy part of town.

The usual things you look for, clean, safe, comfortable beds, close to beach and public transportation, great breakfast, and internet…Hotel Donna Rosa has all that. What makes this property extra special is the staff! Tatiana, Coral, Donna Rosa herself, and the hospitality staff are amazing! Directly across from Mazzaro beach (stairway down not for elderly or disabled). Beautiful views l believe from every room...l would check. Our front desk host, Sandro, took care of us in so many ways. Easy walk to tramway that takes you to Taormina. Superb breakfast ( one day croissants a little incinerated, but it is Sicily) Lovely rooftop pool, nice landscaping and plants everywhere.plenty of places to eat , drink and buy sundries. Might be considered a little dangerous to walk near...

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious dinner the Hotel restaurant . The view from the patio when you’re having cocktails was spectacular and when you would order drinks they bring you little appetizers to enjoy . And loved the convenient location close to major attractions.

This is an old world hotel. Half of it is a 600-year-old monastery. The grounds are exquisite, filled with beautiful gardens. The location, Taormina, could not be more spectacular. We were a large group of people who were accommodated very nicely. There are many rooms, nooks and crannies, where you can hide away and read a book, go for a swim in the pool, or a walk in the gardens. Town is right outside the door.
