This place was a beautiful old historical Palazzo. The room was immaculate and bright, and the bed was comfortable. We had a large balcony overlooking the center of town. The staff was excellent and tended to our every need. There were restaurants and wine bars and gelaterias everywhere. What a wonderful place. We will be returning. The bed was firm (OK), but the pillows were like rocks.
The forced air heating was on intermittently through the night, with very drying effects, even with the temperature set at 20°.
The bar across the street where one had to go for breakfast had essentially zero choices for pastries. It also did not open early (on a Monday).

Beautiful location and in the center of Vasto, walkable to everything. Easy to check in and great breakfast. Highly recommend. Room was very nice and had a small kitchen and even a balcony. Great place.
It’s a stone building beautifully restored and decorated! The owners, a young couple, Antonio and Loredana are very nice and accommodating. Maria, the housekeeper is adorable and does a great job! The room is cleaned every day! We will definitely come back and have already recommended Residenzia Ortensia to family and friends.
We arrived just prior to the start of the summer season so many area attractions were just opening. The hotel was right on the beach and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had 2 extra beds, so this hotel is clearly catering to families. They also included a very nice breakfast in their waterfront restaurant. Overall this is a great spot for a family beach holiday. Located about 15 minutes by car from local tourist attractions in Termoli its just far enough to be relaxing...
To be honest this was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel looked new and was really clean and very comfortable. The person at the desk didn't speak English and we didn't speak Italian but we had no trouble at all. Great place to stay.
