Property condition and room excellent. Feels new and fresh! Car a necessity. Service team mediocre, many not speaking English at all. Staff frequently indifferent and somewhat impolite to guests including me, by both US and European standards. Perhaps no such interaction training. (I stayed 5 nights.)
A wonderful little hotel between Parma and Reggio Emilia. A lot of character, very nice rooms, and wonderful staff. Morena, in particular, was very helpful answering all of our questions and being patient with my mediocre Italian. Will definitely stay at Hotel Tricolore again when in the area.

The staff at this hotel was absolutely amazing! They were so accomodating and very attentive to the needs of their guests. The breakfast had a great variety of options, I don't eat pork and there were ample alternatives for me to eat. My room was very clean from beginning to end with daily housekeeping services. Love the breakfast buffet. The bad part is that the A/C did not work in both our rooms. The 2 rooms we stayed in was 80 degrees even though the unit was set below 60 degrees. Besides that all went well - we were able to park our car in front of the hotel for free.
