"This property is perfectly located in the center of Pistoia and offers anything you need. Rooms are nice and of decent size considering the location. There is underground parking 3 blocks away if you let them know in advance. Staff communicated via Whastapp two days in advance to coordinate check in, share front door codes, and parking instructions. I recommend this place! "

"We chose Pistoia as the base for a two-day visit to Florence. This plan worked great. Hosts Carlo and Lucia have a quirky compound located a short walk from the train station. We parked our rental car for the duration, and used the regional train service (frequent and cheap) to get to Florence. (Ask Carlo about his motorcycle collection.) While C & L don't speak English or French and we don't speak Italian, communication was no problem: beyond Google, they use the new generation of on-the-fly translation devices. Each morning, they laid on a nice spread for breakfast, so our mornings did not start hungry. Warm and personable couple, convenient location."

"Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all. A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures. Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield. "

"A national rail strike in Italy on the day we were supposed to arrive upended all our plans, resulting in our arriving very late. The hotel accommodated our late arrival so we were able to check in with no problems. Beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast"

"Hello, Our stay in Pistoia turned out to be a really positive experience, thanks to the host’s warm and thoughtful care. When we first arrived, there was a light smell of smoke in the room and a minor issue with cleanliness. We let the host know, and they responded right away with genuine kindness. They arranged another room for us for the next two nights, and when we returned to the original room, everything had been taken care of and felt fresh and comfortable. The host was incredibly considerate — always checking in to make sure we were comfortable, and even looking up the bus and train schedules for us as we waited on our last day. That small act of kindness left a big impression. It’s easy to see why this place has such a great reputation. We had been a bit tense after a not-so-great stay at a previous hotel, but the host and staff here really helped us feel at ease. We’re truly grateful for their hospitality and wish them all the best in everything ahead. Take care!"
