Staff was awesome! Food was excellent! Location was amazing! The only drawback is the rooms need updating to match. Room was certainly clean but bathroom was small and room a bit tight. We only had one night to spend and all three couples enjoyed the too short amount of time immensely. Staff was so friendly and totally on it. To start communication was prompt and comprehensive. This out of the way hotel with its own private garden is far from the sounds of the city center and just a 2 minute walk from shops and dining. The room was clean and well laid out and the service was first rate. I was concerned about not having cell coverage to connect to their system, however it was not an issue. The staff are welcoming and extremely helpful

Highly recommend Pensione Sorriso for a stay in Vernazza. Evelyn was a wonderful host and went beyond expectations in helping us enjoy our stay. The hotel has a bright breakfast area/lobby and a nice patio/garden to enjoy. We stayed in a room with a private bath and balcony. Although no sea view from the rooms, there is one from the patio and the sea is only a two or three minute walk from the hotel.
Great hotel and spa. We stayed for three nights and loved every minute. Far from the hustle and bustle. A great place to slow down and relax. Beautiful location in the hills.

Room was clean and quiet. Location is directly across from the promenade so it very convenient to the beach and for walking to dinner. Also an excellent place to run. A 10 -15 minute walk from the train station. Trains were an easy connection for Pisa and the Cinque Terra. Short distance from a laundromat and shopping. Breakfast buffet was excellent and they also offered (included, no extra charge) made to order items on a menu. Ate one night in the hotel restaurant and it was very good.
Very nice hotel and people. The room was clean. They serve breakfast and provide several choices for all tastes. They were very cooperative with the luggage before checking in and after checking out. LA Spezia was a good place to visit. I enjoyed my time there.
Everything about this newly-renovated hotel was perfect-from the unexpected upgrade to a terrace deluxe room at check in, to the “over the top” food and service at the rooftop restaurant.
