This was the best hotel of our trip to Italy! Super friendly and helpful staff - Marta showed us to our room upon arrival and explained the room features (I've never experienced that at a hotel before!). The hotel and the room were beautiful and spotless - and the shower has to be one of the best hotel showers of all time! Great stay!

Hotel Belvedere has a one of a kind island setting within Lake Maggiore. Our balcony view was terrific and so spacious. Windows all around made the room very cheerful. The experience alone makes this place unforgettable. We easily caught a boat from Stresa and were able to park our car right at the Stresa boat dock, so logistics were simple. This place is a gem. It is authentic to the Lake Orta area (near train station and a reasonable walk to the lake), but it is also welcoming to visitors from around the world. Nice family vibe but also would be good for a couple. The restaurant next door served a perfectly memorable dinner, and they also provided a delightful picnic lunch. Breakfast is regional--farm fresh. The room is modern, simple, clean. We would love to return.
