We stayed for only one night, but this is one of our favorite hotels. First of all, we are family of 5 and stayed in the family room. It is more than enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The hotel is also extremely well maintained and very clean. It is directly across the street from a grocery store. Also the buffet breakfast was by far the nicest one we’ve had as we’ve driven the ring around Iceland. I could not recommend this hotel enough if you’re looking to spend a couple of days in...

What a charming hotel! Lots of quirky decorations throughout the hotel and in rooms. The staff were absolutely lovely- happy to help with any and all questions. We had a loft room, which was small but more than sufficient, with a breathtaking view of the fjord. We made use of the two hot-spring fed hot tubs available to guests as well. Very comfortable yet very small room. Shared bath and kitchen making it nice to meet other travelers and make a real meal. They had a nespresso machine which was a real treat! The outside needs some TLC, the view is stunning and you really can’t enjoy it as there is no place to sit in (outside of the kitchen table) or outside. The lawn was overgrown and there was discarded furniture, etc outside. The place is a treasure, just could use some outside maintenance. Would stay again

A wonderful property. It's not a hotel, so if you're expecting something luxurious, this isn't it! The location is great, and the owners have developed cute walking trails about troll-related folklore. There's a shared kitchen available, and the bathrooms are in a building less than a minute walk from the pods. It's northern Europe, so the showers are communal. Natural hot tubs are open in the evening, and there's a decent (and relatively cheap!) restaurant on site with a sunroom for taking...
