We absolutely loved staying here. The location of the house was perfect for driving the Golden Circle. And we loved sitting in the hot tub looking for Northern Lights and star gazing. Also loved all of the oversized windows and mountain backdrop. Home and beds were warm and comfy! Perfect for our family! We wish we could stayed longer. Thank you so much! God bless!
Love Freya Farm! Unbelievably beautiful view right outside our door: green expanse, river, and mountains in the distance. Great breakfast, comfortable bed, clean room. This was the nicest--and least expensive--place we stayed at in Iceland. It is situated on a working farm run by a lovely young couple--not like staying in a hotel run by some corporation. Great location, right across from the Geysirs and 10 minutes to Gullfoss waterfall. The room was spacious. Hotel common area was lovely and quiet. The only negative was the room was warm (no AC and no fan); the only solution is to turn the heat off and open the door (but there are quite a bit of insects in the area). At the hotel restaurant we ordered the chicken wings (very good), lamb chops (good), hamburger (odd).
We loved the working farm atmosphere, especially being greeted by 2 friendly labs when we arrived! Rooms were decorated nicely and clean. Our stay included breakfast. Dinner menu was limited but still very good. The ice cream was amazing!! Would definitely recommend!

Great service at the restaurant. Felt like we were eating a classy dinner. And the BUTTER at this restaurant is phenomenal. It's been over a week since we stayed here and we can't stop talking about the bread and butter.
The room was so cute and comfortable. It had a kitchen with all the appliances and kitchen utensils you could possibly need, it even had some pantry staples stocked. The bathroom was designed well, the whole room was actually. Also, I showed up after midnight, expecting to just collect my room key at the reception but an owner came out to greet me and show me to my room which was so nice of her. I highly recommend this place.

Great secluded stay for a family of 4 (kids 9 and 13). Place offered everything we needed with plenty of space, easy to find, while wonderfully embedded into the surrounding nature.
This is a lovely guest house less than 10 minutes outside of Selfoss. The provided breakfast was very nice, but I do think it would be helpful if it started earlier than 8am as some people might want to start their day early. The hot tub on site was lovely.
