Arnold's is a wonderful hotel. It is right across the street from the "strand" (aka waterfront) and is the BEST place to stay in the northwest coastal region of Ireland. The people are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It is located on the "main" street through town (there is only one street) but is still a quiet, restful place to stay. The room was very clean and convenient for me as I am handicapped. I just can't say enough nice things about Arnold's!
The location was great, both for views and for convenience. The facilities were good, onsite parking was easy, and breakfast was delicious. Best of all, our hostess Noreen was cordial, helpful and kind. She wrote out directions to the national park, answered our questions, and had cookies ready for our arrival. Thanks for helping us explore northwest Ireland!
The hotel is close to everything in Sligo, the staff are exceptional, and the standard is very high. We have traveled around Ireland these past two weeks and it’s probably the best place we stayed at.
The remote staffing is a new wrinkle to me, but it worked fine. Rathmullen was a bit slow on Monday night, but that’s to be expected.

Great 4-day stay at the Station House Hotel. The room was clean and spacious enough for us. The Restaurant was excellent, providing a good variety of food that was well-prepared and tasty. Both restaurant and hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and they made us feel welcome during our stay. Plenty of free parking is available, and laundry service is available for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
Comfortable and clean room. The lobby and halls were also pristine. Restaurants available onsite. The pool was free but you must have a swim cap; available at the spa desk.
From the minute I arrived this was just the perfect place to stay. The dome was spotless, cozy and just one of the best spaces I’ve stayed in ever. The private hot tub was the icing on the cake. Loved staying here.
