The BK motel in Petone was one of the best motels i have stayed in, the service was quick and effiecient the rooms were clean and of high stsndatds. I would reccomend this establishment to people who are wanting a private relaxing stay in Petone 5 Stars and more.

Surprisingly quiet given that it’s next to a highway. Our unit was comfortable for our family of six. We also made use of their laundry, which takes coins and costs $4 per wash and $4 per dry cycle.

This hotel had only opened three weeks earlier when I visited, but it was already operating smoothly.

Ok location not far from Petone rail station which costs $5.50 peak and $4.50 off peak each way in to Wellington. Two supermarkets just down Jackson Street easy walk, Countdown and Pak and Save. Good room facilities including cooking facilities. Two TV's in one bedroom apartment. Plenty of eateries close by. Most of all.....It was CLEAN and spotless and a credit to their staff.

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment for several weeks. The place was excellent, and the staff were very helpful.

Room was beautiful, beds were comfortable, and staff was accommodating. We arrived after 12am and they were helpful arranging a late check in

The property charged me for parking when i stayed for 3 days which is not acceptable

Air conditioning worked perfectly. Room was immaculate and kitchen had all the utensils I needed.

Have stayed there previously.Very handy to the main shopping area and motorway.Will stay again when next in the Region.

Very clean room with nice amenities in Executive Suite, could cook dinner if you wanted to. Owner/manager was very helpful and informative about location and transportation. Car not needed, as train station within easy walking distance. 12 minute train ride into Wellington.Out of town of Wellington, and there may be restaurants nearby, but we didn't see much within walking distance. I stayed at this property for 9 days and it had everything one needs including a fridge, microwave, oven, sink and every kitchen gadget along with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. My room was clean and well appointed. My room was essentially a studio apartment. The prices are very reasonable. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Green Gables will be my go to stay on my next trip to Lower Hutt, Wellington.

Good clean hotel.

The room had everything we needed and was clean. The hotel restaurant was very good and the staff were pleasant. The only complaint was the noise. Outside the window it sounded like loud construction all night long. Very disturbing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and thought it was an excellent location, and close to the car ferry dock to leave for the South Island in the AM.

Clean room and well maintained property

I don’t know what to say, really, as words would be impossible to convey the charm, beauty, and real friendliness of the proprietors! We were overnighting for the inter island ferry leaving Picton so only stayed one night but wish we had time to stay longer. The accommodations were first rate and literally everything that was needed was provided plus more. If we had lacked anything, our hosts would have gladly provided it.
