It was an unusual property, compared to many that I have booked on your site. It was more of a hostel, and for that purpose it served the guests very well. It was clean, safe, and well appointed. But as a "hotel", it was a little less than we expected. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable, but the bathrooms were seperate and FREEZING COLD. The facility nextdoor afforded good dining, ice skating, and snow tubing. The setting was a beautiful mountains and lakefront view.

We were provided with detergent and the staff was happy to provide extra if needed. Very well located and walking distance from the Old Church and lake. My first time staying at a Haka House hostel and I was blown away! They kindly let me check in early as my bed was ready and a towel was provided upon request. I stayed in an 8 bed female dorm but it felt more like a 4 bed because of the way the room was divided. Very high quality property. It’s too beautiful to call it a Motel. It’s like a luxury mountain condo, fully furnished and equipped with all high-end products and fittings. The View out the window is fantastic. Jetted tub and Manuka honey spa products in the large bathroom were luxurious.
