"A bit late but we had a great stay. Highlight was Kumara the yoga teacher who adjusted the level as i was the only one that turned up. Guys around the resturant pool were good. And the office lady who helped me off site when she was walking hone and i had an issue."

"Overall, the hotel has great potential, but unfortunately, it is completely untapped. The hotel has two advantages: a large pool with an ocean view and all rooms offering ocean views—of course, the higher the floor, the better the view. And that’s where the positives end. There is no service at the hotel whatsoever. Rooms are not ready on time for check-in. Contrary to the descriptions, there is no bar at the hotel. The food is „so so”, and all three meals a day are almost the same. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. You have to provide your own drinks, snacks, and refreshments because there is no bar. There is mold on the walls. The hotel is also partially under renovation. Overall, I do not recommend it. For this price, you can find something better and in a much more interesting location."

"I am so glad we booked Reef to finish off our Sri Lankan holiday - it was absolutely perfect from the huge, luxurious suites to the exceptional service and food. Dino and team could not do enough for us, but it was never over the top - we just felt well hosted by the entire team. Worth every penny to stay in such a secluded space on a beautiful coastline - we saw more cows on the unspoilt beach than people and you get a beautiful western sunset from Reef."
