We have been coming to the Maya Hotel and Bistro for several years. It gets even better with time. The Lees are excellent in maintaining their standards of service and training staff. They improve their facilities and it is a truly welcoming place. Like a home you know you can always go to for the comfort and care. And the food....second to none! The hotel is quite remote. If you don't have a car you must rely on the shuttle which has set hours that may not match up with your plans
My girlfriend and I could not be more happy with our stay at the Ellysian. I truly believe it is the best hotel/resort to stay in all of Placencia and possibly Belize.
