The Tontine Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Tontine is a very old hotel located in the heart of Peebles. We checked in quick and easy and got to our room. We were disappointed with the room, it was very rundown and dated. Stained carpets, wallpaper peeling on the walls and musty smelling. The Tontine staff heard we were not happy and immediately moved us to a much better room that looked like it was recently renovated."
Dryburgh Abbey Hotel
8/10 Good
"Very clean spacious room."
Macdonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf & Spa

Harvieston Hall Estate Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms was spotless, its a very old building but modern and decorated beautifully, the bathroom was so clean and the shower was nice and powerful. The man was really friendly and the building its self is just amazing, all 5 of us (3 kids ) were impressed. The beds are the comfiest weve ever slept on. 100% would recommend this place . The view is beautiful, the atmosphere is friendly theres fields with cows surrounding it and friendly chickens running around. Nice stay if u love the peace, the shop is walking distance too."
Kirklands Bed & Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at Kirklands for our one week trip to the Scottish borders based upon the strength of its reviews. It was everything we hoped for and more. Douglas, our host, was unfailingly gracious and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. His thoughtful recommendations and wealth of local knowledge helped us make the most of our trip in all respects - historic sites, events, restaurants, scenic locations, etc. Each morning we were treated to a delicious Scottish breakfast with Penny’s homemade jams in the lovely family dining room. At night it was a pleasure to return to their beautiful home, filled with fresh flowers and encircled by lovely gardens. The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, reflecting the care and attention evident throughout our stay. Kirklands is an ideal place for exploring the Scottish borders, being a short, easy drive to the historic abbeys and homes (including Abbottsford) and other sites, monuments and walking trails. It is a truly magical place and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Scottish borders."
