Wonderful staff, lovely room!

An excellent choice for a stay in the Lymington/New Forest area. Easy access to shops, restaurants and local sites. Our hosts were very accommodating - breakfasts were excellent, help with logistics and recommendations were spot on! Everything was great!

We loved Britannia House. The property is truly lovely and the service is very personalized. Tobi, the proprietor, was there to welcome us, cooked us breakfast in the house's kitchen, and gave us great recommendations. The first night we were there, it was very hot, but a simple fan took care of things.

Excellent place - beautiful setting, very good food, lovely and comfortable room and great service. I highly recommend it.

Quirky accommodation in an attic but nevertheless delightful. Good facilities in the room; accessible for the town and beach.

I would stay again

It was a wonderful stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. It was beautifully furnished and decorated, and perfectly situated near the ocean with a small town nearby. The only thing I want to mention is that I wish we could drop off our bags before check-in, but I understand the situation. Also, public transportation was a bit inconsistent, but that's not the hotel's fault—just something for travelers without a car to be aware of!

Lovely stay. The staff upgraded us to a larger room because of the extra stairs we had to climb with our luggage. They did not charge us. Dinner was delicious, and the service wonderful.

Beautiful hotel and our room was elegant, clean, and very comfortable. Not to mention that unbelievable view. I’m very picky about hotel bathrooms and this one was amazing. Loved the dual shower with great water pressure. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was my wife and I’s first fl stay at CG. We loved our room and the service was great. The hotel and grounds were immaculate.

Lovely spacious room, good breakfast included, excellent scones and cake for Tea, good dinner restaurant, amazing location near the forest ponies, and bicycles for guests to use.

As always the Captains Club hotel was excellent!

Great stay

We booked this hotel for a two night stay - pre cruise. We are still in awe of our stay here at The White Star Tavern Hotel. From the moment we walked through the door right through to when we left for our cruise 2 days later the staff, Bridgit, Emma, Becca, Mina, Jack, Mack, Kyle, everyone was just amazing, friendly, professional, fun, helpful....The Best!!
