Wow! Delightful, convenient, delicious. Patra is a gracious, loving host. The location is directly next to the castle. The room was modern, clean, and beautifully appointed. This is definitely the place to stay if you’re coming to Harlech. Thank you Patra!
The actual hotel was lovely particularly if you are looking for a certain vibe. It was a well renovated country house that was a delight to stay at.
The main issue is that the location is not near anything and feels a bit remote. The grounds could use a little attention as well, but this is of lesser importance.

What a wonderful gem of an apartment hotel room in Barmouth. Everything was great regarding the comfort of the room. The address listed on the website was incorrect so we had to call for directions… We were bummed not to have dinner at the hotel, as reservations booked up too quickly.
Nice property. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the one night we stayed but the morning breakfast was good.
At base of hill where harlech castle sits. Good exercise!

This gorgeous old house has been restored with beautiful furnishings that complement the breathtaking views from our bedroom and other of the rooms. Our bedroom was very, very comfortable with the minor exception that the bed is a double bed, a little too cozy for a couple accustomed to a king size bed. The bathroom fittings were all modern, with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was ample, with cooked choices to order. I must mention the extraordinary drawing room, too, that completed the picture...
Beautiful setting as advertised bathroom is small but made up with extra large fluffy towels. Food is excellent you need to bring your appetite as portions are large. Great walking path to the beach and town
