"5 star downstairs and outside. Grounds are superb. Room was ok... Bed was big, as was TV, but there were things that let it down. Cheap furniture, a wobbly toilet, an unsuitably small shelf in shower, cheap tea and coffee. Also only one bath towel between two, and one hand towel - no bath mat. For an expensive room (even for a Sunday) it was quite basic in lots of ways, and disappoining when compared to the plush bar and seating areas downstairs. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Lots of choices on both menus."

"The Delta Hotels by Marriott proved to be an excellent last-minute choice for our stay on 25-26 September 2026. The hotel's location is a real highlight. It's within easy walking distance of the city centre, Swansea Marina & the seafront, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. It was also particularly convenient for Swansea Bay parkrun, which was one of the reasons for our visit. We were impressed by how quiet the hotel was. Despite its central location, the sound insulation was excellent a & we enjoyed two peaceful nights' sleep. The staff were consistently welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, creating a positive first impression from check-in onwards. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, offering plenty of room to relax after a day out. While the hotel is well maintained, it is starting to show its age in a few areas. The air conditioning worked well enough but was noticeably louder than in more modern hotels. The main drawback was the bathroom design. The shower is fitted over a particularly high bath, making entry and exit difficult. A refurbishment programme that replaces these baths with modern walk-in showers would make the hotel much safer and more accessible for guests. Overall a great stay."
