Our evening at Toadhall was dreamy. A beautiful room, a gorgeous property, a friendly and helpful host. We took a walk around the cliffs before tucking away to sleep after a long drive and awoke to lovely breakfast spread before continuing the journey. Would absolutely stay here again… and again :) Thank you!
I stayed here the night before my wedding at Drum Castle and was able to utilize the late checkout so I could get ready there with my hair and makeup artists. My bridesmaids, mother, and I had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delivered to my room and was delicious, and the property was clean and very relaxing. Lots of cute bunnies outside! We enjoyed our experience here very much and would stay again!

This castle was lovingly remodeled in the 1980s to be as historic as possible yet with modern features (bathrooms, electricity). It’s the real experience and Nicola, the current owner, takes great pride in its history! She also serves a wonderful breakfast in the old kitchen castle. Definitely a lovely experience. Our room was huge and bed was comfortable. You are also surrounded by Leslie history if that clan is your family history roots.
The room was good-looking and very comfortable. The bathroom was the nicest of all the hotels we stayed in that week, and included heated floors. Service was excellent. The grounds of the hotel are lovely - they have black Highland cattle and deer and of course the beautiful golf course, which we walked out to for the views. My only suggestion is to make the rooms a bit brighter - there isn't enough lighting, and given my room's location (we were in the lodge, which is all first floor), I...
This is a nice, local, quaint hotel. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay in a nice neighborhood it is an excellent choice. If you are attending a conference at the TECCA, this location is about a 15 pound taxi trip each way, but that gives you an opportunity to discuss the world with the local general public. Very Nice.
