What people don't understand is how GREAT this hotel and spa are. The Spa has one of the best Hotel gyms and pools with a hydro spa that I have ever enjoyed. The property is beautiful and very safe. Yes perhaps the rooms are a little outdated, but for the price, this is a fantastic place to stay!!!
Watching the boats in the lock on the Thames from the hotel patio and room was very fun.

We had to walk up 42 steps to get to our room carrying our baggage. The place is adequate but dated and the hot water difficult to adjust safely. A window in our room was ajar and there was rot and mold around the frame which caused us to leave it that way. There is no one attending the front desk as the person who checked us in did double duty in the restaurant. The food was fine.
Very convenient location, right front of the station. Front is always staffed and provides sense of security especially at late hours. Interior has been renovated and look new, good amount of amenity. Bed was comfortable and shower ran smooth, and bathroom was big. Overall it was good value.
Amazing hotel with some very nice touches. The US socket in the room was very helpful. The breakfast was top rate - better than most US hotels. Such a perfect place for our first couple days of our trip to London.
