"Lovely stay, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was kept nice and hot. We had Room 328 which was very bright and airy with panoramic views, the station, cricket ground and a corner view of the sea. The shower over the bath proved to be tricky in getting the right temperature without being scolded or it turning freezing cold, hence this took about 10/15 mins each day! Bed should be replaced, has probably seen better days as it was very squishy and bouncy, however, this did not ruin our stay. Both of the pools were very good as were the new changing rooms. Staff in the Compass Bar were very helpful and worked well in their roles, especially Ahmed who was always smiling, polite and helpful. Check-in staff were always professional and helpful."

"Very good welcome when me and my cousin arrived. We dropped our bags off and left for the day and when we came back I finally met James and Gary after a couple messages back and forth beforehand.. The whole team were friendly, polite and great place to stay. Shower was hot straight away instead of taking ages to go hot which was a plus. Well recommend Sam R"
