"I chose a more budget room, so my view wasnt very nice and overlooked by other rooms (the garden is lovely so maybe consider upgrading to a garden view). However, the room was large, well maintained and I didnt notice any significant cleanliness issues. Bathroom had plenty of surface space for toiletries. The car park can get quite full if an event is on. Food and drinks I thought a little pricey (large glass of wine and a burger £37). Pool was nice and lots of gym equipment."

"The hotel reception, outside area, bar and restaurant were all great. The room was clean, the bathroom had been updated and was fine. The windows needed drastic attention, we could not move them due to the state of repair, I assume there is some sort on 'listed building status' but they really need attention. The location and everything else was great."

"Hotel staff are amazing never anything too much and always friendly and cheery even if somethings gone slightly upside down (internet fail on our second to last night out of their control), freshly cooked food was always amazing, some rooms are in the process of being updated but our bedroom was loveky but bathroom needed a bit of tlc for the bath. Defi ately will be returning next year to see them :)"
