What a delightful place to stay in the charming town of Stornoway! Just a block off of the harbor on a quiet street. We stayed in the adjacent location which had a full kitchen and all necessary amenities, as well as a large television.
The breakfast, including gluten free and vegan options, was simply extraordinary with wonderful choices, including homemade pastries by the owner. Our stay here just enhanced the overall experience of Stornoway. Highly recommended!!!
The host was extremely pleasant, and breakfast was enjoyable, with good food and a good mix of guests - UK residents working on the island and non-UK tourists. Some good conversation happened in the breakfast room. The guest house room itself was comfortable, snug, clean...met my needs well. Parking on the street was available and easy each evening, petrol station nearby, and access to early morning ferry was simple, just a couple blocks away. Recommended!
My girlfriend and I booked our stay so as to attend a wedding. The hotel staff permitted us to check in early on the day of the wedding and could not have been more helpful or kind!
