The location was perfect, right at the top with easy access to all of the city. It had an amazing view and was quite quaint. The service was top notch. The beds were a little stiff, but manageable. The room could use a little extra maintenance and small upgrades to help make it look more presentable. There was some mold on the bath ceiling and the shower grout looks old and dirty.

This is my second stay at The Woodlands. It’s a wonderful hotel with equally as wonderful employees. It’s clean and quiet and the food and bar are excellent. It will always be my first choice when staying in the ferry.
Great management and staff. Everyone performed above expectations. I had a tv issue and it couldn’t be resolved so they upgraded my room. That was truly unexpected.
The food was top notch also. The chef mixed a dip for my chicken that was very tasty.
Great location at the train station, easy walk to so many things in Dundee, and remarkably quiet for such a busy location. Beds were comfortable, and the darkening curtains did their job. Didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff, but when we did, it was very pleasant and professional. Bathroom was a little small, but perfectly functional, and had really good water pressure in the shower. Would not hesitate to stay at this location again.
Great stay!! Room was spacious, enjoyed having a kitchen, internet worked great, everyone was incredibly nice, and a dog to play fetch with just made it even more special. 10 minutes from St. Andrew's. Will stay again on my next trip to Fife. Thanks for making this such a special part of our trip!
