Great management and staff. Everyone performed above expectations. I had a tv issue and it couldn’t be resolved so they upgraded my room. That was truly unexpected.

I am not sure if they used any insulation between rooms as we could hear the neighbors conversations quite well and the TV from about 4 rooms down.
The staff here were absolutely lovely! It's a very quaint inn, just as you might imagine an Inn in the Scottish countryside would be. The room was small but functional. Ours looked out onto a sweet 'wee' courtyard.

The beds were a little stiff, but manageable. The room could use a little extra maintenance and small upgrades to help make it look more presentable. There was some mold on the bath ceiling and the shower grout looks old and dirty.

Beautiful view of the ocean from our room. The windows could be opened to here the tide rolling in and the gulls. Very conveniently located to both the university and the old course for golf. Super friendly staff that took excellent care of us every day and night. Highly recommend to anyone visiting St. Andrews.
Such a cool quant spot our room was very nice. We had a view out at the little river and bridge. The included breakfast was very good. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast was very good.
Excellent location in the middle of everything but quiet. Property shows its age but was kept very clean. Appreciated the light breakfast items available in the lounge. Very easy check in.
Nice hostel, in the center of downtown Dundee. 12 minute walk from the train station and bus station. MacDonald, Wendy's, KFC are 4 minutes walk. Very well stocked shared kitchen. Four fridges, microwave, stove and oven. Pots, pans, silverware, knives, everything you need for cooking. No elevator, narrow stairs, five floors. Carrying a heavy suitcase up the stairs is difficult. Thin walls, outside noise enters room. Need earplugs.
Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints.
