Llani was active and abuzz because Prince William and Princess Kate had done a 2 hour surprise visit to Newtown and Llanidloes…. St David’s Day Weekend was quite fun and interesting. The food at the Mount Inn is superb and worth the visit alone…!!! I plan on returning to the Mount Inn 4.Aug..!!!! That says it all…

In almost all ways, the stay was excellent. The room was large and furnished will all necessary amenities. The bath and bedroom appeared to be recently renovated to a very high quality. The food and service in the restaurant was also excellent. The only problem arose with the outside noise level between 10:30 and 11 pm, as a large group congregated for a long goodbye as they slowly exited the restaurant below the room. While the noise was quite loud, it was fortunately not long-lived.
Tom the owner was very kind and friendly. He offered us toast, croissants and cereal for small donation in the air ambulance box.
The house is really cosy and quirky, with twinkly lights that give it a lovely ambiance. The room itself was spacious, clean and cosy, with a very comfortable bed. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be stay again
This is a GEM of a B&B! It’s tucked away in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountains, and is an absolute slice of heaven. The mansion is truly beautiful, and has been renovated with an eye for design and careful respect of its past. The antique furnishings were so perfectly chosen for each room, and the bathrooms were modern and classy. Our two rooms were both very generously sized, and both had rooftop patios overlooking the mountains in the distance. Breakfast was divine - fine dining in...
