"Lovely location, room was a bit tired but clean. Immediate grounds needed a bit of attention and was overgrown in parts, but the wider surrounding area is beautiful. Waitress who served us for dinner was really friendly and breakfast was good. Would recommend as a place to stay but it could do with a bit of upgrading."

"Room was clean. Beds comfy. But bathroom was very dated, almost like it never had any work done for 40 years, apart from the modern shower head... vinyl on the walls, 2cm squared tiles on the floor... But apart from that a decent stay. at 150 a night, it was well overpriced."

"I would suggest you get down for breakfast around 8.00 to 8.30 as that was when the hot breakfast choice was at its best. Staff did go and get anything that was used up if you requested it, however I find it better just to help myself. Staff very friendly and helpful"
