The room was big and clean .but there were. Pair of children knickers left in one of the drawers from previous guests.but the beds were comfy and the room was clean..it was a great base for travelling Edinburgh and close to amenities and a very good bus service"

"We selected this accommodation due to it being the cheapest at the time. Well it was fantastic, the communication from booking to checking in was amazing especially as we needed a very late check in (2am) The room itself was great, clean and well equipped. The staff serviced the room each day and refilled the tea and milk which was brilliant. Beda were comfortable and the shower excellent. The swimming pool is lovely and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We didn't eat in the restaurant but I'm sure we'll be back and we will next time."

"Small hotel ( essentially rooms above the bar and restaurant) in a pretty East Lothian village. Easy on-street parking, straightforward check-in , decent size room. Amenities are a little basic and I was frustrated that the shower in my room had very low water flow. Nice to have a cooked breakfast available every day. I didn't eat in the evening but the dinner menu looked tempting and good value."
