The Dunkeld House is top notch. Attentive staff, clean rooms, excellent food, a piano bar in the evening and a nice walking path on premises. Spa treatments are available on premises also.
Lovely place, set in own grounds and right on the banks of the river. Dining options are limited to the very upscale restaurant and as the hotel is rather isolated you're pretty much locked in. Nice bar area and great service though food choices not really for children - this is somewhere for that special dinner. Breakfast was amazing - very good value as it is included in the price. Our room was in a separate building from the main house - still very nice and had great views over the river. All...
Bridge of Cally hotel sits in a little valley close to Perth and was the perfect place for a stop over. The room was good value and comfortable. The staff were great - responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. We would return!
The Birchwood is among the very best B&Bs we have stayed at. Very well preserved mid-19th century building, beautifully decorated, attentive owners, fabulous food, well-stocked bar. A perfect stop on our jaunt around Scotland. Highly recommend!
Stayed here for a Clan gathering. The Townhouse in Aberfeldy was a great home base for hiking, water sports and exploring the Crannog center. Breakfast at the hotel was wonderful, rooms were in great shape, and there is an elevator to the upper floors in case you are too tired after a long day of exploring.
We stayed in the Burns Suite to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel sent up a small cake to welcome us! The suite was large, elegant and has a lovely view of the grounds in the front of the hotel. The staff were attentive yet relaxed and friendly. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
Also - the Cromlix Afternoon Tea is excellent. Do stay for tea.
This is a lovely and comfortable home within walking distance of Perth. There’s a comfortable sitting room a large dining room for morning breakfast and the rooms were clean and quiet. Graham was the young man managing the property while I was staying and he was wonderful to talk to and most helpful with anything I needed. The breakfasts were delicious and had a huge array of options. I highly recommend it.
Unbelievably attentive staff, excellent dinner, all that you would expect fom a 5 star hotel -- and this in Scone. And the golf course suited my play. My only regret, staying one night and not one week.
