Great property, reasonably priced, comfortable and clean room. Kitchenette was great and the bathroom was lovely. I found the bed to be incredibly comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choices, and allergens were labeled for all items; separate space for gluten-free items.
Laundry room was good, small washers & dryers that were serviceable and free for guests (byo detergent), and much appreciated.
Staff were all polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely pleasant.

Spectacular is the only way I can describe this Hotel .After a long transatlantic flight from Vancouver Canada and needing to get over my jet lag fast before a important meeting , this hotel provided everything that I look for in a world class hotel.
Beautiful , well equiped rooms, looking over the english countryside , pheasants wandering by outside , wonderful showers with large drenching showerhead.
Down the passage way was a very elegant spa facility where I realxed in the hydrotherapy pool...
The room was very spacious and we enjoyed our stay but when asked if they had a refrigerator they said No. we had some food that needed refrigeration and they didn’t even have a small portable fridge that we could rent. As a result we had to throw our food away.
The staff didn’t seem terribly interested in trying to help us or find workarounds which was disappointing. There was also no air conditioning and we had to open the window to let cool air in but this also result in some street noise...
A spectacular hotel! Charming, newly decorated, very clean and great service. The restaurant area was great too. We weren't expecting this and just booked it as a layover on a roadtrip - but would visit here again!
It definitely had the old English charm that I was looking for. My room overlooked the waterway which was nice. There’s a Costco close enough to get anything you might have forgotten. The pub next door served the complementary breakfast and other meals throughout the day. On Friday night they had live entertainment which was very nice.
