What a gem!! I loved my stay at Mingarry Park. My room was clean and spacious and had the private hot tub which was a major plus. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very communicative. I had the most relaxing, restorative stay. And, they have an epic breakfast included which basically filled me up for the entire day. What a find! Totally worth the cost and I would definitely stay there again.
We booked last minute and super late, we call the place and the lady was super nice leaving the keys on a safe spot for us to pick when we arrived past midnight, we are super grateful with her, then we woke up and they made us an amazing breakfast, super friendly people.
We ended it ip here by mistake but we are Happy about this mistake, loved the place and will definitely go back.
Our stay at Eriska was wonderful and full of good memories. The staff were very professional and attentive. We spent one day walking around the entire island - it was not strenuous and took approximately 3 hours and that included lots of breaks to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The food at Eriska was top notch from the lovely breakfasts to the multi course dinners. We stayed in the Skye room which is on the first floor. It was a spacious room with a sofa and fireplace.
Wonderful large towels. No shoe horn in the room. Large parking area for hotel guests. Nice small bar. Modern furniture in the restaurant. Great choices on the menu. Peaceful place.
The Bunkhouse was a quiet and quaint space with a handy location. The room was finished to a terrific standard and was certainly cleaned well. It gives you great access to the Highlands and islands and the corran ferry literally couldn't be any closer.
The communal area was well equipped for cooking and had everything to make a great cuppa after a long day exploring. We didn't get to try to eatery's delights nearby but I'm sure it would be worth a try if it matches the standard of the Bunkhouse
Beautiful room - a comfortable place that feels like a home. Attention to detail was throughout. From the carpet to the ceiling was quality, and extremely clean. The sunny living room was so comfortable. This beautiful little harbor town had the friendliest folks. The only regret, I didn’t book a longer stay. Side note - I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was too nice not to share.
Helpful and friendly staff. Lively crowd at the bar gives it an authentic feel. Easy access to lots of nature. Clean, basic rooms- ours had a washroom down the hall which was not convenient but had a warm and welcoming shower. Breakfast included and was super tasty and surprisingly gourmet (i had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon ).
The property is elegant and the service attentive. Dinner menu is multi-course and changes nightly. The food was excellent and beautifully prepared. They were very accommodating about substituting courses if you didn't eat certain things.
The mobile home smelled like sweat man and it was gross. The main bedroom was a bit dusty. For the price I think linens should be provided and not cost additional. Kitchen was great. You have to pay for toilet paper which I think should be provided also.
The view was amazing. Lovely kids playground right on the lake. The train featured in Harry Potty passes right over the bridge at the entrance of the park at 1115am and returns at 315pm. Such a cool site. Just watch out for the coal smoke that...
Wonderful hosts, very accommodating. Lovely spot with a view of the Isle of Mull across the bay. Had one of the best pasta meals in my life. Well worth the drive.
