What a beautiful hotel! From the moment you drive up, the property makes an incredible first impression. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, and the décor was absolutely stunning.
We stayed in the Stables, and our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. I honestly didn’t want to leave when I woke up the next morning. Everything felt luxurious yet relaxing, making for a truly memorable stay. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone...
This is a gorgeous inn in a picture-perfect English village! The only issues I have is that the room for 3 people is quite inadequate in size and furnishings. A couple of hooks to hang clothes, a footstool as the only seating, no drawers and only one folding luggage rack, meaning we had to live out of suitcases on the limited floorspace.
The restaurant was fabulous even though it had a very limited and expensive menu, and other options were in nearby towns.
We would go back in a heartbeat if...
Some of the friendliest and kindest staff I've ever had, with a simple and easy check-in/check-out process. Also very delicious food at the pub downstairs as well. My bed was very comfortable as well, and the room was very clean.
Overall, I'd gladly come back to stay if I ever visit again.
Stayed in the Premier Room, so was kitted out with water, fridge, expression machine! Bed was comfy and room was the right temperature, considering the heat from outside.
The property was a perfect little English inn for a quick night during our trip from the US. Rooms and grounds were clean, staff helpful, and room well-suited.
Nicely done conversion to a hotel from the old Coventry Telegraph building. They kept a lot of the memorabilia and feel from when it housed the newspaper. Room was a great size with a quite small but lovely bathroom.
The staff is notably friendly and helpful and the Inn has a cozy country feel to it. For history buffs, it is close to the site of the Battle of Naseby during the English civil war, which essentially culminated in a Parliamentary victory (Oliver Cromwell) over the Royalist forces of Charles I. The countryside is quite lovely and conducive to some nice walks/hikes. Again, the Inn is a pleasant spot to relax, eat some good food on site, and enjoy a few drinks without having to drive anywhere,...
Great stay. Nice sized room, Lots of parking, Great breakfast. It is at the university, so lets food options in walking distance. Could use laundry facilities.
This was the most amazing experience in every way. Higher than 5 stars…simply extraordinary! Thank you to all the members of staff that made it so magical. I cried when I left. I hope to return one day. From the bottom of my heart - thank you!
The stay at the Howard Arms was excellent. Tim and Joe made it even better with their humor, hospitality and charm. The food was chef’s kiss good. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.👏😊
