Such a beautiful stay! The pool was so beautiful and such a rarity in the UK. We will absolutely be staying again.
One thing to note is that there is no AC at the hotel. It was cool enough outside it wasn’t needed but definitely something to know for hot summer days.
We had a fabulous experience at Channels Lodge. The location in a peaceful country setting, the room with up-to-date facilities and clean, well appointed and lots of electrical connections. The staff so welcoming. From this time on this will be our destination when we visit relatives nearby.
Staff was amazing! I lost my backpack on a local bus, Sally and Kinliegh jumped into action helping me recover my lost luggage. They are truly wonderful people and great people you want working for you! They deserve recognition for all their hard work.
Excellent One night stopover whilst visiting for an event in the area , I arrived at 8 pm & ordered a very well kept local Ale , A Sirloin steak which was delicious washed down with an excellent merlot .
The annexed accommodation was spacious and very comfortable with luxurious bedding , The ensuite bathroom was very well laid out with a huge shower that was excellent .
Breakfast was delicious and was cooked by the charming owner.
We loved the setting, right in the heart of Long Melford within walking distance of notable historic buildings (Melford and Kentwell Halls, the Medieval Church) and local sops, pus and restaurants. The Mil itself is perfect!
Perfect stay with the perfect amount of space. We have family nearby and this was a perfect location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast hamper was a great plus!
