Easy access to Manchester Airport (10 min). Lovely grounds, great breakfast options (fee) and quiet area. It has a few years on it but our room (executive) was clean and well appointed. Nice bathroom. Small bar/pub area. The gardens are nice for a wee stroll. Would stay again.

My family of four stayed in this lovely inn at the end of December 2015. We were looking for a place to stay between attending a Manchester United Football game and visiting the English countryside. This location was perfect! It allowed us to stay out of the city in a more relaxed and less commercial inn, so that we could truly get a feel for the area. Breakfast was spectacular. They make their own bread! The people were lovely. The check-in process was ridiculously simple and straightforward. The on-site was easy. The room was comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay here again!

Decor is nice and furnishings luxurious. Fresh milk in the fridge for the Nespresso maker and a bottle of water! Comfy bed and spacious room and large bathroom.

The staff were very helpful. I asked for a few things (extra towel, extra sheet, glasses of ice), and all my requests were filled quickly and with lots of friendliness. The room was comfortable with comfy bed and pillows. I've been in lots of hotels this trip, and this was definitely one of the best.

This was our first night in our UK trip and was arguably the best place we could stay to introduce us to this country. Our room was small but the stone walls and lovely decor made it feel simultaneously rustic and contemporary. The bathroom was well designed and had a wonderful shower that was just what we needed after 15 hours of travel. The bed was a dream, I haven’t slept that well in a long time. Loved it! Cute town and lovely breakfast. Nice restaurant at the neck back Pecks and casual pub food at the front. On small thing service was slow in the pub food and breakfast. Seems understaffed! Eveything else was great.
