Although we only stayed here for one night, the stay was great. Good size, newer rooms with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent! Loved the homemade scones.

My family and I spent one night of it two weeks vacation at the Black Lion Hotel. It might our favorite of our whole trip.To say that it was fabulous would be an understatement. We had two rooms, and they were perfect! Clean, roomy, and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and caring. One of the unexpected perks was the hotel's restaurant... The food was exceptional! I highly recommend staying there.
The location was perfect!! Right near the historic race track and city wall and a block or two from town center! Loved the ease of the keyless entry and the well appointed room and lobby...
The room, especially the bath and shower, were excellent. Breakfast was outstanding in a comfortable, well-lit room. Wifi was very good. Good car park.
Absolutely incredible stay. The room was the cosiest - I could have slept for a week straight. The food was 12/10, massive portions and incredibly fresh. The best was the staff! Thanks all! From check in to check out, everyone was great to have a chat with. I can’t wait to come back.
