We accidentally made our reservation for one day earlier than it should have been. The staff did everything possible to make the needed changes without complaint. They were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Parking was easy, beds were comfortable, area is perfect. Would highly recommend!!
We loved this place from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our room which was comfortable and clean, small and simple. We threw open the shutters and windows to catch the cool breeze and sunset. We took a quick swim as the last rays of warm sun shone. We had a wonderful 3 course dinner and wine for two and then breakfast in the morning, both outside and enjoyed the view of the gardens and surrounding fields, all of which were bathed in light reminiscent of a Vangough painting. Located right next to the large fountain in the heart of the Old Town, our room was very quiet despite 2 sets of large windows. The best feature of all, at least for us, was the gym. This was not a small room in the hotel with a few machines. They give you a card and a towel so you can access a full size gym that is located in the alley directly behind the hotel. It's literally like a 20 second walk to a full size gym! The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, there was plenty of hot...
The room was small but cozy. It lacked a view, but the window provided good airflow. It fit my solo traveling needs perfectly. Good central location, clean, comfortable, friendly staff who spoke English, and good wifi. A bit noisy at night, but in fairness I left the window open.
First of all, the location is just great. Right around the corner from the Musee Granet, only about 4 short blocks over from the Cours Mirabeau and oldest part of the city, less than 10 minutes (on foot) to the Fontaine de la Rotonde, and not far from the Hotel de Caumont museum. The street is very quiet, and has no cars - except taxis that can lower the access control posts. Just a block from the Rue d'Italie, with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The room was gorgeous and very historic. Website said the property has an elevator, which isn’t true for some parts. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to help haul my luggage up the 3 flights of stairs. It was a bit precarious bringing it all down to check out. The breakfast was absolutely lovely.

The A/C had been turned off for the season and the room was very hot. The noise from outside made it impossible to open the door for cool air. Had difficulty getting comfortable to sleep. We finally took out the comforter and used just the duvet.
This location was right in the middle of everything! We loved being so close we didn’t have to use a car. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was wonderful to soak in. If you enjoy being close to breakfast, coffee, pastries, shopping, dinner, late night dining and markets, this is the place for you. Did I mention this used to be a convent? Extremely interesting history.
What a joy! The gite is beautiful, with lots of great spaces to hide in and amazing views out of each window, of the vineyards and nearby houses.
You feel like you are living in the 20th century but will all the conveniences of today.
It was quiet and wonderful. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming. We will plan to stay again when we return to France.
