This hotel is totally unique - a 19th century chapel converted into a boutique hotel. The continental breakfast was extravagant, the service excellent, and the location right across the street from the Jardin des Plantes, one of the most unusual, artistic gardens we'd ever seen
Wonderful short trip with my children. Booked one of the offsite suites which was a great experience.
Pros: Beautiful decor, excellent location, accommodating staff.
Cons: breakfast ends at 11 (which I found to be a bit early), no A/C in unit (not a big deal unless it’s quite hot, and then sleeping with the windows open is difficult because of evening foot traffic and street noise outside).
Overall it was an excellent stay and we would love to go back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s in a great location to everything we needed to do in Nantes.

Le Colisée Hotel & Spa in St-Herblain, France near Nantes was a wonderful hotel and we had a fabulous experience. The people working at the hotel were very friendly, helpful, passionate about their jobs and they were very fun to be around.
The hotel itself is quite modern, extremely clean, organized and managed very well. The continental breakfast was delicious and expansive. The bar had a fantastic selection of fine French wines and European beers.

Parking is awkward and we found it easier to just pay a couple euros extra at the public underground lot just a block away.
