Bernadette was an excellent host. Family of 4 was very comfortable in two adjoining rooms. Rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated with modern amenities . Beds were very comfortable.
Host asked us the night before when we would like breakfast, her suggestion for 9:00 am was perfect time. Fresh pastries ( all homemade) yogurt, jams, juice and coffee and chocolate milk for kids, were all ready for us. We enjoyed talking to Bernadette about our travels during breakfast.

Comfortable, quiet room, air conditioning in the midst of this unexpectedly scorching summer. And some of the best food (both dinner and breakfast) that we had on our entire driving trip. Truly an amazing place to stay. If you want to stay in a very old hotel, you will not be able to beat this, maybe 800-900 years old? They have put a lot of effort into updating this place to make it work as a hotel. The only effort that was lacking (maybe my view because I'm American) was that the room didn't have AC. All desk clerks were courteous and helpful in English. Someone who was apparently the manager was also very nice to us in assisting with breakfast. Property itself was in very good shape.
