Hotels in Padron

Un hotel precioso, nuevo, extremadamente limpio y con muuuuuucho comfort. El staff muy atento y cortés, el desayuno muy bueno el bufett son 15 por persona o a la carta, tiene estacionamiento...hubiera querido quedarme mas días pq está estupendo.

I was Surprised how nice this was! I loved staying here. It was a great value. The room was large, The bathroom was excellent. They offered free laundry services.

Staff was amazing. They even booked a taxi for me the next morning so I could catch my bus back after the Camino. Dinner recommendations were flawless and thoughtful ... I plan to recommend this place to all my friends. If you're on the Camino, it's close enough so you can stop here on the way to Santiago, or use it as a base for the night after.

Overall excellent quality to price ratio. The hotel is located 3km away from the Cathedral. It is a bit of a walk, but quite interesting in the morning as it is on the Camino route. Thus from 10AM till early afternoon you will be seing the pilgrims arriving. You can also utilize public bus service to get to the center of town. The bus stop is 100 meters from the Hotel door. Hotel has a great breakfast so you dont have to venture out early in the morning. Dinner on the other hand its not very good and you are probably better off eating at a local restaurant. The place is very well kept and clean. The room are nothing fancy but good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is far enough from the city so you dont deal with the huge crowds but a taxi will be around 10 euros to get there. I would certainly stay there again next time.

On our 20 night Camino de Santiago journey there has not been a better hotel than Torre do Rio. Every small detail is amazing from the decor to the comfort to the food to the grounds… we are so glad we did a two night stay here and made it one of our rest days! An absolute gem of a property a tiny bit off the Camino and worth every step! Out hosts were unbelievably gracious and helpful. The rooms were spotless and cozy and comfortable. We met a couple of other pilgrims and became fast friends over afternoon glasses of beer and wine from the “honor kitchen” while sitting outside on the courtyard patio in a tiny, quiet hamlet.
