"It’s a beautiful charming hotel - historic feel - and it’s in the middle of the town - as central as you can get. The place smells good b t w. Please note: If you arrive with your own car - you have to park away from the property and take an Uber/Taxi or walk to the hotel. Elevator - only one and it doesn’t always arrive to your floor. Last day I had to walk down and get it and then go down with my luggage. Otherwise it’s faster to take the stairs - if you don’t have luggage. I traveled alone and had a small but charming single person room. Small a/c floor unit helped during the heat but the room does get quite warm. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast and served until 10:30 am. Good wi-fi. Free coffee and water in the lobby including a full bar. Luggage storage was great."

"The staff, the spa amenities & the breakfast shine at this lovely hotel. Although it seems expensive, you have to factor in what is included. Hotels in central Copenhagen are easily $350-$400/night with nothing included. This hotel has much to offer. The spa has so many stations & is amazing (several steam baths, warm pools, cold plunges, hot tub, infrared seats, salt rooms, several saunas & you must ask for or attend the Aufgus ritual - heaven!). The dock across the street for ocean access is also wonderful. They have bikes and SUPs for rent. Breakfast was so healthy and decadent, with tons of quality options. Really nice walking & cycling routes nearby. The only downside side was the room was very hot as the hotel has no AC, but fans were provided. The other downside is the beds were extremely uncomfortable (2 twins) - this can easily be fixed. Way too soft & the thinner mattress topper kept sliding off of my bed frame. It was very uncomfortable & the mattresses should be replaced given the cost of the room. Another small complaint is the room consisted of separating 1 bed into twins, but because the bed had a headboard with integrated nightstands, 1 of our single beds had to be placed in front of the nightstand, which of course does not run the length of the mattress, which caused the pillows to fall into the hole at the top of the bed (so you had to scoot down the mattress to try to prevent from losing your pillows). Otherwise, this hotel is fantastic, I’d come again."

"Hotel Brinkly is a charming little family run hotel. It is a beautiful old building perfectly positioned just opposite the beach and with forest behind. It is in a lovely position and Snekkerten is a very pretty village. There is also a bus stop immediately outside. We had the garden room which was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were without exception helpful and kind. The breakfast was fabulous. It was a contintental buffet breakfast -There was freshly baked bread and the best homemade jam we have ever tasted. The staff were happy to make omlettes and cook eggs and bacon for guests. It was clear how much care, thought and attention went into the catering. There was also an excellent selection tea and coffee in the dining area which guests could use all day long. We loved it."

"Bike friendly hotel. Close to Snekkersten train station, which made getting to Helsinger and Kronborg Castle easy. Delicious breakfast included. We did not use the spa, but many others at this hotel did, so I imagine it is quite nice. The room was large and lovely, and the hotel was quiet despite having a lot of rooms. I definitely recommend this hotel."

"This is a gorgeous property! We stayed for a long weekend to attend a wedding and had a fabulous time. Although our hotel room was in the older wing of the hotel, the room was in outstanding condition and spotless. The staff and the food/beverage options are also great! Highly recommend and feel like this place is a hidden gem given how remote it feels but yet how relatively close it is to CPH."
