This property is amazing, Our spacious rooms were above the stables, no elevator. We could hear the horses neighing on occasion and hear them being walked by at different times of the day. We all said we could live here. The grounds are pristine. The breakfast (15eu pp) was fabulous. Unfortunately, the restaurant for lunch and dinners was closed on Mon/Tuesdays. We would stay here over and over. Only 25-20 min to Zurich airport. 15 min to Rheinfalls.

We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast included a variety of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, marmalade, yogurts and fruit, boiled egg, juices and Coffee. A great breakfast to start the day. The bed was very comfortable. We highly recommend Hotel-Restaurant SchöpPerle! We will be back at our next visit to the Black Forest . It's a very good base for walking in the area, though the lake is not as pretty as Titisee up the road. Parking was easy, luckily, but they also give you a pass while you're there and you can take the train wherever you want. If you have a dog, the facilities are good and they were very kind. There's a nice park just up the hill, great for early morning or late night walkies. Very convenient to a grocery store, an atm, and right across the street from the tourist information center! This was an amazing place, beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. The view from the balcony of the restaurant was amazing. The only thing was that the breakfast was nothing fancy. Other than that, 10/10.
