I had such a nice stay! While family was at Fachklinik Dr. Herzog, I stayed here, only a few minutes walking distance. I enjoyed a comfortable and clean room, patio, a lovely breakfast daily and helped myself to a beverage in the evening from the cooler (leave cash, with the honor system). My hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. WiFi is much stronger here than at the Klinik, so I could easily communicate with members at home. No frills, like Coffee Maker or other fancy gadgets that in the end you really don't need (but pay for). It used to be a mansion to a rich aristocratic family (von Löw), who then became a poor aristocratic family and the building fell into disrepair. I arrived at 7 am and the hotel accommodated my very early checkin. Room was perfectly clean and very spacious. Perfectly quiet and I was undisturbed during my whole stay. Multiple balconies was a nice bonus. Location is good. Right near the middle of town. The town itself is perfect for an escape from the big city. I stayed one night passing through Frankfurt and would certainly choose this hotel again rather than staying in the city. Barbel was very friendly and helpful at checkout.
