Really great spa and pool, room, and food. Some important details: no spa admission after 8 pm, it reopens at 10 in the morning. Restaurant kitchen closes after 8 pm too, but they still serve drinks and charcuterie. Some staff spoke English and it was helpful because the receptionist did not. Also the credit card machine at the reception wouldn't process Hotels.com charges in dollars (but the restaurant's card reader can do it)

The hotel was centrally located and had easy walk distance to the nearby castle and marketplace. The room was comfortable and the included breakfast had a wide variety. Several staff members could understand and speak English which helped a lot. I would definitely stay here again!
A beautiful renovated castle in the Hartz mountains. I chose the hotel for it's location. The staff were very nice, the room was small however was clean, the restaurant dinner was excellent, a large buffet breakfast.
Stayed here for a few meetings I had in Hannover and Berlin. Bernburg is pretty much half-way between the two. What you dont get is a cookie-cutter big chain hotel with large (US-size) rooms. What you do get is personlized service by genuine folks that care about you.

We got a reduction that came out to 49 euros per night for this hotel. If you are a frequent traveler you know you can't expect much for this price but this was a really good surprise. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, bedding was really good (this is my top criteria) as i need good nights of sleep.
