I had a great stay at the Best Western Blankenburg Hotel in Coburg. The staff were very friendly and always made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The room was comfortable and well-kept, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast offered a nice variety of food, with something for everyone to enjoy. The location was also convenient for exploring Coburg and the surrounding area. Overall, a very positive experience and I would gladly stay here again.

Very nice, welcoming owners - felt at home and well taken care of. Good breakfast buffet with a lot of variety. Good location for hikes. We were very grateful that we could bring our two dogs with us.
Traveling around Germany by car and wanted a place with safe parking in safe area. This was perfect.
Apartment 1 was perfect for three adults to spread out and enjoy. Unfortunately didn’t have time for pool or sauna but everything was clean and never needed to contact management for a problem. Courtyard area would make this hotel perfect for family with children as the area was enclosed and room for little ones to run around

This is probably the most luxurious hotel in the surroundings, and if you are aware that you are in the countryside and that this is a former dormitory of the GDR worker's union you will be comfortable.
A wonderful hotel with great service and a very professional staff. Rooms were beautiful, everything was tidy and clean, and the place offered a wonderful respite to complement the beautiful city of Coburg.
