Bach Boutique Hotel was an amazing place to stay. Francesca (Frenchie) was the first person we saw at the front desk after a very long day of traveling. She was amazing that day as well as our entire 11 day stay. Francesca was very helpful with making arrangements for our spa experience and finding us our transportation to the airport. Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. The interior of the building itself is definitely dated and a bit austere, but that really didn’t impact my stay. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast options were great, and I appreciated that breakfast itself started at 6:00 (I’m an early riser). The staff were friendly and accommodating. Super nice host family. Really good breakfast buffet. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Stayed here to ski at Nassfeld for the weekend - about 20 minutes drive from the mountain. A little far from the action of Nassfeld, but worth it for the price & value. Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous place to stay where staff goes out of their way to please everyone. The dinner was amazing with many choices and flavors to enjoy. The salad bar was the best I’ve ever seen! The views are incredible. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you so much, Daniel!
The room was nice and cozy. It was a bit small but the beds push together to make it a little bigger. The location was great as ithe was only a 20 minutes drive to Nassfeld. The wifi signal was a bit weak in our room but the breakfast more than made up for it. I would recommend this hotel as it was very clean and the staff was quite nice.
