"A nice hotel in the "middle of no where". This is not ment as criticism. It is nice and quite here. The staff (owner and wife) were very nice. We had a long chat in the morning. The room was very big (family room with third bed). Also the bathroom is very large. I am not much into bathtubs, since they feel a bit squeezed but alas, that's just me. The room and bathroom were very cold. Even with the radiators on max. I needed an extra blanket that was available in the closet. A good things was...

"Over €100/night for a very basic room with window straight onto a busy road is too much. A very noisy family group let the children play outside their room in a tiled hallway which was not conducive to restful sleep. Disappointed that the buns at breakfast were warmed in the oven rather than fresh. The Latte Macchiato this morning was made with sour milk which is an acquired taste, though not mine."

"The hotel has the most beautiful location surrounded by mountains/hills. It's and old palace built by a king to be near the springs and the spa. There's lots of atmosphere and grandeur about the hotel and the setting. Great spa facilities and fitness too. We were not too keen on the kitchen/buffet. "Travel stay at the hotel for one night - four family members need two rooms - neutral late arrival 9pm and asked breakfast time - next morning friendly lady at the standard breakfast buffet (still corona safe) - hotel and room clean whereas the surroundings need some maintain."

The beds were very comfortable, and the owners were very accommodating when we unexpectedly needed to arrive late. We wished we were staying longer than one night!"
