The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Loved our stay here! When we arrived Sam, at the front desk, helped us get settled straight away. The hotel is directly across the street from the train station but you cannot hear trains pass. We got a room over looking the river which was very relaxing. The breakfast, which was included, was great!

Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden exceeded our expectations. The rooms -- with all having an amazing view -- provides a very efficient use of space. The breakfast buffet is outstanding -- offering an array of delicious items. And the service staff was top notch.

This historic hotel is well located.
Upon arrival we were not able to talk to anyone has they were short with staff and needed to come back 3 hours after we arrived in town.
When it was time to check in, the person was nice and polite but beside this gentleman the other member of staff were not talktative or willing to do a smile or give a feeling that we were important.
The room was comfortable and super clean with comfortable bed as well.

This was just an all around excellent stop outside of Salzburg. The village was one of the nicest I've seen in Europe. Don't miss the cemetery, it's beautiful.

Leopoldskron was a highlight of a 6 country/7 hotel trip. Friendly staff, beautiful property, and easy access to old town via car or taxi (typically about 10 euro each way). The main building is an amazing thing to explore...beautiful rooms and great history. Our room wasn't in that building...more plain jane/contemporary design but on the same property. Hotel staff was very friendly/helpful. Grounds/gardens were a bit rough...didn't detract from the stay at all, but was surprising to see...
