We booked a single night here at the very last minute trying to escape the heat of the west coast beach towns. We were so glad we did. This hotel is absolutely stunning. We had one of the rooms upstairs from the lobby rather than one of the bungalows but the room was amazing with a spacious first floor, kitchenette, balcony and a very cool loft bedroom/bath. This was such a great place to stay! The views were awesome, it was very quiet and peaceful, and it was very unique to stay in a dome. We saw so many hummingbirds and butterflies. The caretakers were the most helpful, friendly, generous people. They went out of their way to help us with anything we needed and they also had a cute friendly dog that greeted us. Just a few minutes away there were a couple restaurants to eat at and it was a 5 minute car ride to Rio Celeste. Highly recommend this...
We stayed in Villa Jade at Villas Jawara and it was incredible! The property has the best view of the Arenal volcano, is beautifully furnished and decorated, and the service from Santiago was exceptional. Would highly, highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back.
Milena and her husband are truly wonderful people who shared their little gem with anyone who stays over and you just don’t want to leave. This place is truly special I strongly recommend. I have travel all over the world and this place had the best hospitality and food for a reasonable price.

Just book it. You will not regret it! The kitchen is well-appointed, bed is very comfortable, the deck chairs are great, and the staff was lovely! No railing outside, so don’t bring little kids (noted in the description). Driveway is a bit steep but you need 4wd in Monteverde anyway. Lots of great markets or restaurants nearby!
The grounds at the hotel are amazing. The tropical gardens that surround the guest rooms, paths, and pool make for a very relaxing stay. The rooms are spaced well apart and have a lot if privacy from the covered verandas. The views are incredible. The location is perfect for exploring and taking advantage of the many activities in the area.
We cannot say enough about Hotel El Silencio Del Campo! First, the people who work here are excellent. They were very helpful, positive and clearly cared about our experience. I had my birthday while we stayed there and they helped my husband purchase flowers and a cake. The woman who cleaned our room made an adorable figure out of the towels. The resort was not small by any means, but felt intimate. The staff made you feel special, they took the time to remember your preferences and your name. The resort is very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again

We only had two nights at Rio Perdido but they were amazing. From the moment we walked in and were welcomed with the most delicious passion fruit welcome drink till the moment we checked out with the friendly folk at reception, we felt warmly received and graciously cared for. Steven greeted us as we entered - he was very attentive and warm as he told us about the hotel and its various offerings.

The Staff here are AMAZING! We stayed for only one night before returning to SJO airport. We needed assistance with transportation and the staff here bent over backwards to make calls and help us. This property is clean and has a nice breakfast. The ONLY negative I would give it - the noise. If you cannot sleep with earplugs, you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong booking La Fortuna Lodge.
