Milena and her husband are truly wonderful people who shared their little gem with anyone who stays over and you just don’t want to leave. This place is truly special I strongly recommend. I have travel all over the world and this place had the best hospitality and food for a reasonable price. We extend our stayed and can’t wait to be back again :)

Our family of three (2 adults and one six year old) stayed at Lucky Bug B&B for one night in April on our way from LIR airport to La Fortuna to break up our travel day. We selected the B&B based on other reviews and we were so glad we did. Check-in was easy and quick; we were greeted by Monika, Rob, and their cats and dog (which my son loved!). We were able to park our car right next to the B&B, which is set back away from the main road and through a gate that is closed to those not staying at...

The grounds at the hotel are amazing. The tropical gardens that surround the guest rooms, paths, and pool make for a very relaxing stay. The rooms are spaced well apart and have a lot if privacy from the covered verandas. The views are incredible. The location is perfect for exploring and taking advantage of the many activities in the area.

Excellent property and location. Felt like a stay in the outdoor with the safety of the indoors. Excellent views!!!

This resort far exceeded my expectations. Even though it was low season, and the resort appeared to be almost empty of guests, it felt fully staffed and the service was excellent in every respect. The tour around the resort when you first arrive is great. We were shown the property by Tony Castro. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The resort was not small by any means, but felt intimate. The staff made you feel special, they took the time to remember your preferences and your name. The resort is very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again

This was a gem of a find. Joel the owner was on top of every detail of your stay. The meals prepared were exquisite. Family style tables that allowed you to meet other travelers and exchange past places visited and or give ideas of where to go next. Birds eye view of the beautiful garden where you could watch birds for hours. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely amazing stay here. The hotel staff was so accommodating and friendly and helped with excursions/transport. The food at hotel was AMAZING. Did not disappoint. 10/10 would stay again

A beautiful space, well suited for our family of 4 with 2 teens. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy. We spotted many birds from the outdoor area including white throated parrots and keel billed toucans. Even if it's raining there is a screened patio room and covered porch. This is a beautiful area and a lovely place to stay.

The Staff here are AMAZING! We stayed for only one night before returning to SJO airport. We needed assistance with transportation and the staff here bent over backwards to make calls and help us. This property is clean and has a nice breakfast. The ONLY negative I would give it - the noise. If you cannot sleep with earplugs, you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong booking La Fortuna Lodge.

We were last week in Rancho Margot and we were amaze how beautiful is the scenic around the cabanas. Everything was perfect, people were very helpful always try to please you and find the best solution for you. The owner is always around and very attentive to anyone....Rancho Margot has is own vegetables garden, cow and pig. we ate organic and my kids loved all meals without any complaint. We were very sad to leave. We will recommend for anyone who search the nature and not the luxury. The...

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped set up telescopes so we could see the birds and sloths in the trees. Hot tub outside our room was a nice touch. Rooms were large and comfortable. Only downsides were there really isn’t a bar or place to have evening drinks. Also the cost of bottled water was ridiculous ($30 for two bottles of Fiji water).

super cute cabins in the middle of the cloud forest! I loved staying here. it was very windy making it a bit scary, but I put the mat under the door to make the door not jiggle and I was fast asleep. we had number 15 and it was perfect. it was a king bedroom suite, living room, kitchen and huge bathroom! I will absolutely recommend to everyone i know going to Costa Rica! #puravida

Room was nicely decorated. Staff was friendly. Nice view out back of room into the woods. We had a 7:00 am tour so we couldn’t utilize regular breakfast. They made us a sandwich, fruit, and juice which was appreciated, but if all that was done, they could have just as easily fed us normal breakfast a little early. Also, a little difficult to check out and still be able to access your car when you return. Overall, enjoyed it!

Very clean and quiet! So nice to have cleaners every day and breakfast every morning. We loved fabricio, give that man a raise!!!!
