Outstanding staff. Gave us great local recommendations and very attentive. Bungalows are clean, but simple. The property is outside the main tourist spots, but the beaches close by are even better.
Me and my girlfriend came here for four nights before heading to Volcan Arenal. We stayed in the villa, which was less than 100 meters from the beautiful, private black sand beach. From the moment we arrived the staff (Juan Jose, Karina, Randall, Steven, Santos, Diana, Carlos) was incredibly friendly and accommodating; by the time we left I felt as though we were all on very friendly terms.

The roads getting to the property — and the Nosara area — were incredibly bumpy and rough. Once we arrived it was totally worth it. The staff was very friendly, they helped us with our Spanish, made it easy to schedule rides to town and activities offered. The restsurant was beautiful and the food was fresh and they had light healthy options. My boyfriend and I had the most relaxing stay here. It was our favorite stop in Costa Rica thus far. The property itself is gorgeous, the food is incredible and the people are so nice and accommodating. We felt like family and will most certainly be back again! Do not hesitate to come here for a little rest and relaxation. It was just what we needed.

The hotel is easy walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The ease for making arrangements - transportation to other area attractions as well as other locations in Costa Rica - plus COVID testing on site, and thoughtful room design made this a pleasant place to stay. I learned a lot at the lessons I took at the hotel’s surf club.
I believe it’s the only hotel on Nosara beach. Absolutely amazing location. Beautiful beach. I will say the current is a little strong. Be careful swimming.

I can't say enough positive things about soulshine. There is something very special about this place. The owers energy, the food, the magic of nature(monkeys, iguanas, hummingbirds, butterflies, ect.), the confort of the rooms, and so much more. We travel to Nosara once or twice each year. We usually rent homes but really loved our stay at Esh. The staff is wonderful and always ready to help with anything you need at any time. I can't speak highly enough about the staff at Esh! Beautiful property.
Hotel was awesome, staff is great. If I had a complaint I’d have to say the cost of the food. 1st night of arrival got a hamburger, a salad, and the wife and I each got one drink. The bill was $75. From that point on we went and ate at Tamarindo. Our 1st day in Tamarindo breakfast, lunch, and dinner was $80 total!
